Maybe he shouldn’t have changed it in the first place, but he did and everybody got a good laugh at it and his career basically went south.
Well, say adios to Chad Ochocinco.
The New England Patriots wide receiver is telling friends that he plans to change his last name BACK to Johnson in time for his wedding this summer. Not because he’s tired of being looked at sideways. Nope because he doesn’t want his wife-to-be to have a made-up last name.
Ochocinco’s wedding to his “Basketball Wives” fiancee Evelyn Lozada is set for July in Florida and sources tell TMZ, the NFLer plans to legally change his last name back to the one he was born with before he ties the knot.
Despite hedging last month, we’re told Evelyn doesn’t care what name she ends up with — Johnson or Ochocinco — the choice is entirely up to Chad … but it appears he’s already made up his mind.
Here’s hoping changing his name will change his luck on the football field …
