*During an interview with Gayle King, Mariah Carey referenced Kim Kardashian’s 72-day marriage while trying to prove that her nuptials with Nick Cannon is the real deal, even though they may argue from time to time.
After the couple revealed “Dem Babies” on the Barbara Walters special during an interview, many wondered if there were problems between the super couple. But Carey tells King, “Me and Nick have never been better.”
“Here’s the thing,” she continued. “I am a real person so I’m not going to put on a fake Hollywood ‘Yes every single time Nick says anything I faint and fall on the floor.’ Sometimes we make each other mad. Sometimes I make him mad. That’s called why we’re not divorced after four months.”
Mariah explains: “We’re not super people or anything. Some people were taken by surprise, but he knows that and I’m going to say what the real thing is, because that’s what this is about.”
Meanwhile Mariah has been busy promoting her new deal with Jenny Craig, having recently dropped 70 pounds with the company’s help.
