There Kobe Bryant was, passing an NBA milestone, in the perfect Kobe way.
It was a clutch moment in the game between the Lakers and the Hawks, with the Lakers up by three with a little more than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter. Bryant got the ball at the elbow, then held…and held…and you could practically sense all the Kobe critics preparing their rants on his selfishness…and then he swished a perfect fadeaway jumper that extended the lead. He got the foul call, too.
