Sorry Andre 3000, No Jimi Hendrix Biopic for You

*Sorry to be the bearer of bad news Andre 3000, but you will not be playing the role of legendary rock star Jimi Hendrix in a biopic. According to reports, the deceased guitarist’s estate shot the whole thing down.

Although the film project was just a rumor to begin with, his estate has confirmed more documentary footage will be released soon.

Online reports say that Experience Hendrix, the organization that administers the posthumous affairs of guitar icon Jimi Hendrix, has released a press release responding to media reports that a feature-length biopic of the man is nearing production. Experience Hendrix say they have “made it known many times in the past that no such film, were it to include original music or copyrights created by Jimi Hendrix, can be undertaken without its full participation.”

Overall, no biopic in the making, but it would be quite phenomenal, especially with Andre 3000.
