On Thursday, Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan died at 33. The musician, whose legal name was Dequantes Devontay Lamar, made contributions to the Atlanta trap scene like 2013’s “Type of Way” and 2015’s “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh),” and in the wake of his death, fellow artists and collaborators have posted heartbreaking tributes.

Lamar’s death was confirmed by a family member and the Fulton County medical examiner, but the cause is still unknown. TMZ claimed to release the 911 call Lamar’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, made on Thursday when she found him unresponsive on the couch at their home in Atlanta. In the audio clip, Williams told dispatchers Lamar had fallen asleep on the couch the night before and she’d put a blanket over him in the morning, assuming he was still asleep, and taken her son to school. When she got back, she said, she noticed Lamar wasn’t breathing and didn’t feel a heartbeat. Per “Page Six,” he was declared dead at the scene when paramedics arrived.
