Tanya Williams Says She’ll Add Substance to ‘Basketball Wives: LA’

*Look who has joined the cast of “Basketball Wives: LA.” It’s NBA wife Tanya Williams, the wife of imprisoned former New Jersey Net Jayson Williams.

“I signed on to participate in the show to elevate the negative perception… that [it] is purposely filled with flighty, overly emotional and sense lessly dramatic women. Yes, my life is chaotic, dramatic and surreal, but I am also a businesswoman,” Tanya told the NY Post via email.

Well, we shall see about that. Her life is pretty dramatic and filled with more than the average person’s.

Her marriage alone has been a testament to no perfect life with reports of alleged suicide attempts and drug abuse on her husband’s part. And let’s not forget the accidental shooting of his limo driver for which he was sentenced to 5 years in prison.

Despite her attempt to divert the negativity from the show, she may have just as much if not more drama and chaos to add to it all.
