T.I. Celebrates Book Release With Swizz Beatz, J. Cole and Jadakiss in New York; Photos

T.I.’s clothing line, AKOO, held an exclusive dinner for the release of the rapper’s debut novel, Power & Beauty. Held at the Philippe restaurant in Manhattan, the dinner featured 50 guests, including Swizz Beatz, J. Cole, Jadakiss, L.A. Laker Derek Fisher, NFL player Deon Grant and Grand Hustle’s Jason Geter.

T.I. has been busy promoting the book and releasing new music since his release from prison. After the festivities, Geter spoke about T.I.’s newest ventures.

“We’re happy and extremely proud of T.I.’s newest achievement, adding novelist to his repertoire and seeing him grow into this multitalented and inspiring individual,” Geter said. —amir shaw
