Shots Fired as Thief Hits ‘Lost’s’ Malcolm David Kelly

*TMZ is reporting that shots were fired at the home of “Lost” star Malcolm David Kelly this morning as police moved in on someone breaking into his Los Angeles-area home.

The actor, who plays Walt on the ABC series, called the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. at 9:28 a.m. Friday to report a burglary in progress at the actor’s house in Bellflower, CA.

Sources close to the investigation tell TMZ the perp first tried to knock on the front door of the house — and when no one answered, attempted to break in through the back. Kelly heard the noise and immediately called 911.

The suspect tried to flee when he heard the sirens of police cars driving to the scene, sources told the Web site. Officers reportedly fired at least one shot at the criminal outside the home — but no one was hit.

“Eventually, we’re told one person was taken into custody — and is currently being detained,” TMZ reported. “Cops are still investigating the situation.”
