NY02 becomes the official water for Jay Z

Jay Z once boasted on “You Don’t Know” that he could sell water to a well. Quite a feat, but let’s see if he can sell water for real.

The rapper and businessman just added another notch to his belt of accomplishments with his new venture into high quality H20. High-end, New York-based water company NY02 announced they will become the official water for Sean Carter and all Roc Nation-affiliated ventures, concerts, showcases etc.

Like Diddy, Hov will be the the second major rapper attached to a water venture. Diddy in 2013 partnered with actor Mark Walhberg to create the performance water AquaHydrate.

In a press release, NY02 President Elias Slubski spoke on their Roc Nation collaboration, suggesting it has the ability to “thrust American premium bottled water onto a beverage marketing platform that is higher than New York’s Empire State Building.”

And the winner is Hov.
