Norwood Young Pens Memoir on Plastic Surgery, Sex Abuse, and Superhead

*After years and years of being a muse for gossip blogs and websites, recording artist and Hollywood socialite Norwood Young finally releases his own accounts of his life, including commentary on his plastic surgery to his feud with Karrine “Superhead” Steffans to his infamous home, Youngwood Court in Hancock Park called “Getting Back to My Me.”

Young, crowned King of Hancock Park because his house was one of the premiere hotspot for Hollywood parties, tells a story on how the lavish life of an R&B rising star, reality star and Hollywood socialite stripped him of his soul, bringing Young to the point of jail, house arrest and numerous stints in drug rehab. Releasing on October 18th, “Getting Back to My Me” takes readers behind the closed doors of Youngwood Court, the singer’s home, in which he describes his life as empty, filled with guilt, self destruction and pain.

He also comments on his feud with Karrine “Superhead” Steffans, where she indirectly outs him as gay in her book “Vixen Diaries.” He also takes readers through a tale of his childhood, during the time he was molested. This is where he roots just about all of his frustration with his image and what he calls his catalyst for self-mutilation, in which he got numerous plastic surgery done to his face and chin.

In the end, Young turns this memoir from him being a victim into him being victorious both physically and spiritually. He speaks on his spiritual journey to facing his troubled past, in what is being described as a journey from his spiritual core, as well as his recent surgery to get as close to his old face as possible.

In true Hollywood fashion, the author will host the “Getting Back to My Me” book release party on October 23rd at the Art Deco bank building, located 5209 Wilshire Blvd. in the Miracle Mile of Los Angeles.
