No Wedding Bells for Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan

*The couple’s Aug. 21 wedding has been called off. Matt Barnes and Gloria Govan decided to call off the wedding but have not disclosed any of the details.

Some of his buddies were at another wedding over the weekend when they received a text message with the sad news. When asked what happened, his only response has been, “Please respect my privacy.”

If you can’t recall the couple, the two gained popularity on Shaunie O’Neal’s hit reality show, Basketball Wives. On the show, the couple’s relationship appeared pretty normal, beside the celebrity factor. She wasn’t a favorite among the other women of the show and many believed she was naive for thinking her man wouldn’t cheat on her. Well, while nothing has been confirmed, rumors have been circulating that Barnes, now a Laker, may have had some affair on the side. So sad.
