The 7-time NBA All-Star served alongside teammates, Blake GriffinDeAndre JordanGlen “Big Baby” Davis, and Brent Barry (NBA TV), Baron Davis (former Clippers player), Justin Turner (Los Angeles Dodgers), and Jalen Rose (ESPN). Television journalist Kevin Frazier emceed the festivities and Laila Ali served as maitre’d.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers, former NFL player Curtis Conway (Laila Ali’s husband), celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins, and reality TV personality Laura Govan were also there to show support. And the winner of Chideo’s Chris Paul Celebrity Server VIP Experience Sweepstakes, Matthew DiMaria, served beside the players.

Paul and Frazier conducted a live auction, supported by the comedic talents of Griffin, Jordan and Davis, which included an NBA All Star Extravaganza package, a game of horse with Paul and the opportunity to have Paul act as “principal for a day” at the school of the winner’s child. Westime luxury timepieces donated two watches (retail $19,000 each) which were raffled off. Presented by Apollo Jets, the evening also featured a performance by violinist Lee England.

The CP3 Foundation strives to enhance and promote education, health, sports and social responsibility for youth and families. Chris established the foundation in 2005, in honor of his late grandfather, to provide scholarships for young people to attend Wake Forest University. His emphasis on community involvement has won the CP3 Foundation the NBA’s Community Assist Award four times. The foundation’s initiatives include partnerships with Feed The Children, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boys & Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, The Laureus Foundation and LA’s BEST. The foundation also supports literacy initiatives, youth basketball clinics and court refurbishments.
