Update: Minaj Firing of Diddy False

*Apparently online reports of Diddy being fired by Nicki Minaj are false. According to a posting by Ms. Info, Minaj confirmed that earlier reports of Diddy being fired as manager are false.

It was also reported that replaced the Bad Boy mogul with Benny Medina. Nicki took to Twitter to clear things up.

*Obviously things didn’t work out between Diddy and Nicki Minaj. They have officially split. To be more accurate, Miss Minaj has fired Mr. Sean Combs as her manager.

The high profile raptress says she had to leave Diddy because she was feeling like she was being managed “by mother.”

“By now, everyone should now that I am really strict when it comes to my representation,” Minaj said in a statement obtained by HipHopDX. “I had sympathy for [Diddy], however I feel as if I haven’t gotten the guidance the manager is supposed to give his client. Personally, I feel like I’m being managed by mother. Even if you play the smallest role on my team, I wish to see progress. I’d like to thank him for everything he has done for me; for taking me under his wing. I wish him the best with repping Rick [Ross]. But now that my album is about to drop, its time to get serious and stop playing games.”

Who’s Minaj’s new manager? Non other than Benny Medina, who was formerly Diddy’s manager, is now taking on the new role. He has also represented Usher, Jennifer Lopez, and Brandy. This will be Minaj’s third manager in seven months.
