Lauren London Reveals She Almost Wed Lil Wayne

*Lauren London came out of the closet recently and revealed that she and rapper Lil Wayne came close to tying the knot. The two were engaged a while back. They eventually parted ways amicably, London said.

“I met Dwayne when I was 15 years old. I’ve known him a very long time, and we were in a relationship that didn’t make it,” London said. “People see the ‘Lil Wayne’ persona and think they know who he really is. My
son’s father is an intelligent, loving and lovable person who will always be a dear friend.”

London, who stars in VH1’s “Single Ladies,” has been attached to other high-profile celebrities such as crooner Trey Songz and Michael Hamblin. However, she is not the kind of woman who likes to share all about who she dates. That pretty much remains a private affair, she said.

“I’m such a private person. I was never interested in becoming famous,” London said. “I still struggle with that aspect of my work … I struggle with deciding when to answer or ignore the constant speculation about my private life because I feel like that doesn’t belong to anybody but me.”

As for Lil Wayne, reports are that he is currently linked to a woman by the name of Dhea. Circulated photos of the couple have made their rounds and could suggest something serious is going on between the father of four and this mystery woman.
