Jamaican Dancehall Star Vybz Kartel Charged with Murder No. 2

Vybz Kartel, one of Jamaica’s most popular DJs is now being charged for his second murder.

According to police, the 35-year-old dancehall star was charged with the killing of a Jamaican nicknamed “Lizard.” But it’s not his first offense.

Kartel was accused of conspiring to kill a music promoter who was gunned down on a street corner.

Assistant Police Commissioner Ealan Powell told the media that Kartel is being investigated “in connection with a number of murders, shootings and gunrunning.”
