In the Spotlight with Unsigned Artist: YounJsav

Jaden Thomas, better-known as YoungJsav, is best known for his hit 'Bangout,' which has garnered over 1000 views on Youtube. YoungJsav grew up around music. As a result, he started rapping and recording at the early age of 16. YoungJsav is an unsigned artist who has the potential to be rap's next superstar.

Family

It is no wonder YoungJsav started his music career so early in life. He grew up surrounded by a family of talented people and was even in the school band himself. His dad was an artist, and his grandmother was another musician. YoungJsav's most influential family member was, however, his cousin. His cousin was like a brother and became YounJsav's role model at an early age. His cousin, who also rapped, pushed YoungJsav to be the best and continue rapping. After his cousin passed, YoungJsav promised to never give up and to make his cousin proud.

Growing Up

YoungJsav was born in Inkster, MI, in 1998. He didn't have the easiest childhood, growing up around violence, but he did not let that defeat him. Instead, he's taken the hardships and lessons learned so early on in life and used them as ammunition for his lyrics. He takes his unique experiences and creates a true artist's vulnerability that leaves you wanting to hear more from this unsigned artist.

Artist Influences

YoungJsav is influenced by Boosie, Kodak Black, Raw Youngin, and King Von. They influence him because their music relates to everything he has been through. He relates to the artists who understand and articulate his struggles. He also admires them because they teach you never to give up on your dreams. Rapping is YoungJsav's passion. YoungJsav's drive and personal experiences make him an artist to keep our eyes out for in 2021. Expect YoungJsav to be the next household name in rap.
