Fergie And Will I AM Sued !

Fergie And Will.I.Am Sued Over Alleged Plagiarism

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Fergie and will.i.am are facing yet another copyright infringement lawsuit over one of the songstress' songs from her solo album "The Duchess." Reggae band Groundation are suing the half of the hip-hop supergroup for allegedly ripping off their song.

Grounded Music Label, which owns the rights to the song, claims that the duo plagiarized Groundation's 2000 track "Waterfall" for Fergie's 2006 song "Voodoo Doll."

According to the federal lawsuit obtained by TMZ, "Voodoo Doll" - co-written by Fergie and will.i.am, who also produced the song - is "substantially and strikingly similar" to "Waterfall," from the album "Each One Teach One."

Grounded Music is suing for an unspecified amount.

This is not the first time will.i.am has been involved in plagiarism lawsuit. Earlier this year, DJ Adam Freeland claimed the frontman and his band stole the beat from his song "Mancry" for their "Party All the Time" track.

There is still no word on the outcome of the suit.
