Drake’s ‘Thank Me Later’ Goes Platinum

*Canadian rapper, Drake has reason to celebrate, as he sold over 1 million copies of his debut album since its release, which stands at no.18 on the Billboard Top 200.

Drake is the only rapper to sell more than 1 million this year after Eminem released “Recovery” which has already hit double platinum.

“Thank you to everyone who allowed us to go platinum on a debut album! WOW,” Drake tweeted back on July 22, when he had only sold 833,100 units.
