Blue Ivy may have a big brother — a young man who sounds like a chip-hop off the old block.

A 21-year-old aspiring rapper was identified in court papers as the possible son of megastar Jay Z from an early ‘90s romance between the upstart Brooklyn lyricist and a teenage Philadelphia girl.

A YouTube clip of Rymir Satterthwaite, the focus of an ongoing five-year paternity fight with Hova, shows him rapping free-style — and explaining how his talent feels hereditary.

“It was in my blood,” the Philadelphia native explains. “I really wanted to pursue my dreams. That’s what I’ve been doing, pursuing my dreams.”

Jay Z fought successfully against a DNA test several years ago to determine if Rymir was his son, court papers indicated.

The boy’s mother only suggested Jay Z was the father after another man, who was paying child support for years, took a 2011 DNA test proving the kid was not his son, court papers showed.

Wanda Satterthwaite was ripped in court papers for waiting “seventeen years to name a second person as the father of her child” — and then naming Jay Z.

By then, the multi-millionaire music mogul was a long way from his roots in the Marcy Houses.

A spokeswoman for Jay Z did not return emails for comment about the paternity battle.

“Trying to stay positive,” Rymir Satterthwaite tweeted Thursday afternoon.

Rymir’s godmother told the Daily News that the family was stunned to learn that the suit became public this week, even though the court battle goes back five years.

“Right now I can't talk to you about it,” Lillie Coley said Thursday. "We plan to talk to the public soon.”

Coley declined to discuss the specifics, insisting she was only trying to protect her godson. Satterthwaite and his mom will address the issue in the near future, she added.

“All this attention caught us off guard,” Coley said. “We didn't expect someone to leak it to the press. We weren't expecting this.”

Jay Z’s supposed affair with Wanda Satterthwaite occurred long before the former drug dealer became a musical icon — or met his wife of nearly seven years, Beyoncé.

Wanda’s Facebook page indicates she graduated from high school in Philadelphia in 1994. Her son was born one year earlier; Jay Z released his first album, the platinum-selling “Reasonable Doubt,” in 1996.

The man born Shawn Carter, now 45, emerged over the next 19 years as a chart-topping, 13-time Grammy Award winner with a string of best-selling albums.

Paralegal Coley, Satterthwaite’s legal guardian, filed the new suit in a New Jersey civil court in December 2014. The lawsuit was reportedly handwritten, and accused Jay Z of lying about his home address to dodge a paternity test, the National Enquirer reported.

Court papers show the paternity fight dates back to June 2010, when Wanda Satterthwaite first named Jay Z as a possible father to her son.

DNA testing proved a second man, Robert Graves, believed to be the boy’s dad since his birth, was not the biological father, court papers showed. Graves, nevertheless, paid child support for years.

Wanda tried to force Jay Z to submit to testing, but the hip-hop star won a court fight by arguing there was no “extraordinary cause” involved.

In the still-pending civil suit — which was sealed Thursday morning — Satterthwaite’s guardian accuses Jay Z of providing “fraudulent” information to the judge.

The lawsuit questioned the rapper’s claim that he lives in Manhattan, since he reportedly owns real estate in New Jersey.

The allegation is not the first of its kind for Jay Z. In 2011, reports surfaced that he fathered a son with Trinidadian model Shenelle Scott. The rapper’s camp dismissed those tales as “ridiculous rumors.”

Rymir Satterthwaite, in one of his YouTube clips, recounts how he was born and raised in Philadelphia. He started rapping at age 8, and began writing lyrics when he was just 13.

“That’s when I really realized I really had a passion for rapping,” he said. “I’m coming out soon, and I would really love to have your support.”

The athletic young man, who now lives in New Jersey, said he always had the support of his mother and his younger brother. His interests outside the music business include football, soccer and basketball.

One of his raps, posted under the title “City Lights,” included a couplet about growing up in hard times:

“No more living in a struggle where we’re shopping at the mall ... Try and live, getting money, didn’t have it from the start.”

In the same rap, the cocky young man declared, “I remember as a young ‘un, knew that I would be a star ... Taking momma out the hood ... and buy a car.”

The suit is the latest bit of unwanted attention for Jay Z, who was famously attacked by his sister-in-law Solange Knowles inside an elevator.

The whole encounter was captured on a security video that was quickly leaked, fueling rumors that Jay Z and Beyoncé had hit a rough patch in their marriage.

But last October, the couple reportedly renewed their vows while on holiday in Europe.

There was no comment from Beyoncé about the paternity case as the couple’s seventh anniversary approaches in a few weeks.
