Diddy Puts Enyce Clothing Collections On Sale For First Move As CEO

Enyce Hip-Hop Clothing Brand Owner Sean Diddy Combs

Hip-Hop clothing line Enyce is on the move to a new look. Purchased by Sean Diddy Combs less than one week ago, it seems the Hip-Hop mogul is already playing with the new portfolio addition. Acquiring the Enyce brand from Liz Claiborne for almost one fifth of its′ initial selling price, Diddy is looking to make his $20 million USD back as soon as possible.

“I bought this brand to add to my portfolio… for my mini fashion empire that I′m trying to start. I′m an entrepreneur,” said Diddy speaking of the Enyce clothing brand purchase on Diddy TV. “I bought Enyce. I thought it was a smart move,” he continued during a live recording of him expressing his thoughts.

Since that video blog, Diddy has progressed into shaking the Hip-Hop clothing brand′s offices it seems, making head way for a new direction. Enyce has began marking down price on its on-line site, doing away with Enyce promo codes, and offering 30%-40% off men′s big and tall styles, as well as womens and girls clothing. Enyce′s biggest collection, mens Hip-Hop clothing, has also been discounted, offering 50% off any 2nd item purchased by Enyce.com shoppers.

Too late to effect the early 2008 fall and winter Enyce collections, Diddy will continue marketing the latest designs from the Hip-Hop clothing brand. Not sure what Diddy is going to change about the brand, in his Diddy TV video blog, Combs made it clear he was going to ′remix′ the brand into something new.

“I′m going to make this a hit like I make my records. I′m going to put my marketing power behind, I′mma do my thing. The (Enyce) brand as you know it today is not the brand as you will know it 6 months from now,” said Diddy.
