*Cupid did something stupid.
OK, maybe stupid is too strong a word, but hey, it rhymes and sorta makes the point.
The deal is the man who created the “Cupid Shuffle” didn’t pay his manager the $100k he’s owed and now he’s being sued.
In New York, Brick Wall Management filed a Federal suit against Bryson Bernard a/k/a Cupid. They say he signed a deal for the company to manage him in 2007, the same year “Cupid Shuffle” was released.
TMZ obtained a copy of the suit, and in the docs BWM alleges Cupid agreed to pay commissions to the company for a period of 15 years.
BWM claims it can’t calculate exactly how much Cupid owes in commissions because he refuses to reveal any details about his income — so they’re guestimating at least $100,000.
TMZ says calls to Cupid’s camp have not been returned.
