Cleveland Cavs Prepare for LeBron’s Return

*ESPN’s Chris Broussard looks at the extra security measures taken to protect Miami Heat star LeBron James in his Dec. 2 return to Cleveland. The game will mark LeBron’s first against his former team since taking his talents to South Beach.

In an attempt to tamp down what is sure to be antagonistic behavior toward LeBron, Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert tweeted what will and will not be acceptable from fans attending the game.

“Obviously no profanity, vulgar stuff U wouldn’t want kids to see but we are not going to be the Gestapo,” Gilbert wrote on his Twitter page.

According to Broussard, the Cavs have been in talks with the Cleveland Police Department to deploy dozens more uniformed and plain-clothed officers both inside and outside of the arena on game day.

Also, plastic bottles will replace glass bottles at the concession stands during the game, and anyone showing up in anti-LeBron apparel will have the clothing removed and replaced with a Cavs t-shirt.
