Chikezie Eze Enters Plea in Identity Theft Case

“American Idol” alum Chikezie Eze has pleaded no contest to misdemeanor identity theft stemming from charges that he tried to buy merchandise with fake plastic.

The singer was arrested after allegedly using a bogus credit card to purchase two bottles of cologne at Neiman Marcus — totaling $1,289.57.

According to TMZ, the plea deal calls for Chikezie to be placed on three years probation and to perform 45 days of community labor.

He has also been ordered to stay away from Neiman’s.
