Bishop Eddie Long Asks for Help

*Bishop Eddie Long is in some new kind of trouble now. He’s made an appeal to the public via YouTube for the sake of some financial funny business.

About a year or so ago, his church hosted a financial seminar to supposedly empower members of the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church. And some invested in the City Capital Corp. Unfortunately their retirement accounts went under.

So according to a press release, the bishop is asking the public’s help to recover or build a case for the members who are losing somewhere around a million dollars.

The release said that Long decided to make a public appeal to help members resolve their “dispute with City Capital Corp. and its CEO Ephren Taylor.”

The problem with the whole plea is that the preacher doesn’t detail who or how many have been effected. It also leaves out some key specifics like Taylor resigned last year on Oct. 22nd.
