Allred Repping Family of Victim in Hilary Swank Film

*For her latest case, Gloria Allred has latched on to family members of the murder victim portrayed in the new Hilary Swank movie “Conviction.”

According to TMZ, the family of Katharina Brow is upset they were never consulted about the making of the movie, which depicts the true story of her murder and the plight of man who was wrongly convicted of the crime.

Swank executive produced the film and stars as the incarcerated man’s sister, who put herself through law school and became his attorney to prove his innocence.

Allred, along with Brow’s grandson Taylor and Taylor’s father Eugene, caught a private screening of the film Friday night and are now requesting a meeting with Swank to voice their grievances.

According to TMZ, the family is upset they were never consulted about the making of the film. Taylor and Eugene both expressed how difficult the film was to watch and Allred said that seeing Katharina portrayed on screen, and having her name used throughout the film underscores the need for Swank to have a sit-down with the family.
