50 CENT TRIED OUT FOR 'A-TEAM' MOVIE: Rapper wanted role of B.A. Baracus.
(October 26, 2009)
*Rapper 50 Cent said he auditioned for the character Bosco "B.A." Baracus in the upcoming film remake of the 80s TV show "The A-Team.
The role made famous by Mr. T was ultimately given to mixed martial arts veteran Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, but 50 says he wouldn't have been able to take the role anyway because the shoot would have clashed with his music schedule.
He tells Total Film magazine, "I went for the B.A. Baracus role in 'The A-Team' a few weeks ago but they'd already started shooting, so it would have kinda jammed things up at my end, because I've got my new album coming out."
The movie is due for release in 2010 with Bradley Cooper as Faceman Peck and Liam Neeson as A-Team leader Hannibal Smith.
