50 Cent Responds To Derek Jeter Leaving Frigo Because Of Him

"LETS GO METS?" 50 Cent says.

Frigo is suing Derek Jeter for leaving the company after 50 Cent joined, TMZreports.

Two years into Jeter's three-year contract as a director of Frigo, the Swedish underwear company was preparing to enter the United States market. Jeter asked for his involvement to be made public. Frigo then named 50 Cent as its brand ambassador. The site says that the former New York Yankees shortstop thought theG-Unit rapper was making the company too "urban." Jeter then left the company.

Frigo is seeking $4.7 million from Jeter for the value it lost when he departed.

50 Cent responded to the report on Instagram today (November 18).

"Wow, guess I'm not a Yankees fan anymore," the New York emcee writes for the caption of a picture of Jeter in his Yankees uniform. "LETS GO METS? Man you can't trust nobody these day.smh #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO."
