It started when Camron shockingly pulled out a diss record featuring Max B in 2005 I think , called You Gotta Love It
Camron poked fun at Jay’s age and poked fun at Beyonce.
Jay-Z responded with the aggressive Brooklyn High , aiming at Jim Jones and Camron and Dipset as a whole. Jay also throws shots at Dame the snake Dash in this song .
Camron also made another diss track called Swagger Jacker claiming Jay always robs lyrics. It has also been reported that Camron claimed that someone from Roc a Fella threw shots at him during a party .
The beef was because Camron was envious of Jay being CEO at Def Jam and also their times at the Roc.
