Monica Marries Shannon Brown Again, This Time Before Friends and Fam

*Singer Monica and Los Angeles Lakers star Shannon Brown walked down the aisle Saturday for the second time, People reports.

The couple, who quietly wed in November, held a large wedding ceremony for hundreds of family and friends.

The wedding took place at a renovated 19th-century cathedral in downtown Los Angeles with guests including LaLa Vazquez, Carmelo Anthony and Brown’s teammates Kobe Bryant and Derek Fisher. The bride, 30, wore a Stephan Rowland gown. The blue-and-purple-themed reception featured a sit-down, three-course dinner.

The couple met in June 2010 when Brown, 25, appeared in Monica’s music video for “Love All Over Me.” Brown put a ring on it in October and the two jumped the broom a month later in their Los Angeles home.

Monica has two children, Rodney Jr., 6, and Romelo, 3, with ex-fiancé Rodney “Rocko” Hill. Brown also has a child from a previous relationship.

The singer, who most recently appeared on “The Voice,’ is currently working on her seventh studio album, “New Life,” set to hit stores in October.
