Glynn Turman, Loretta Devine and Art Evans are to take part in a staged reading of the award-winning play “The Dreamers” this weekend in Los Angeles.
The production, directed by Bill Duke, follows a poor African-American family in the south and begins the day that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is assassinated.

Writer Christina Harley and sax-player Mark Allen Felton are also part of the reading, which takes place on Saturday (March 13) at 8 p.m. and Sunday (March 14) at 8 p.m. at the Screen Actors Guild Actors Foundation Theater (5757 Wilshire Blvd.)
