Fox News Owner Shuts Down 168-Year Old Paper in London Amidst Scandal

Owner of News Corp., Rupert Murdoch, British Prime Minister David Cameron, and News for the World Editor, Rebekah Brooks are tied in Murdoch's media empire scandal.

It looks like the media is taking a major hit that, for the very first time, may end them up in jail and destroy one of the most powerful news organizations in the U.S. and Britain. So far, the scandal has resulted in the closing of a major British newspaper, the resignations of a major media executive, and the Commissioner for Britain’s famous police force, Scotland Yard!

According to CNN, Rupert Murdoch, who owns News Corp., which includes the long-time media staples of the U.S. –Wall Street Journal, Fox News, the New York Post, and Harper Collins Publishers– also owns the major British papers as well.
