Eva Marcille Dishes on Relationships and Marriage (Video)

*Model and actress Eva Marcille broke the world’s heart, well maybe not the fellas so much, when she broke the news that she and her former love, Lance Gross, have decided to let the relationship go.

The “Girlfriend Confidential” star said that they just weren’t really ready for marriage, even after five years together.

“Lance didn’t mess up,” she told the crew at New York’s Power 105.1 Breakfast Club. “I know we were both committed to each other. He didn’t want to be with anyone else. I didn’t want to be with anyone else, so naturally you feel the next step is, ‘Let me propose,’” she explained.

She had to take a different route, but says Lance is a wonderful man, and any woman would be blessed to have him.

Her relationship with Flo’Rida, who she calls a “super-country boy,” was short lived after he started talking marriage.

“I didn’t want anything too serious. Flo’s a great guy. He got really holy on me, and wanted to go to church all the time,” she explained, adding that dating the rapper validated him as a celebrity catch.

Eva’s just having fun. Now she’s courting a Jamaican guy, who she says is just “regular” who’s “grinding out.”
