Cheadle, Spike Tee Up for Michael Jordan’s Celeb Golf Tourney

*Actor Don Cheadle, director Spike Lee and soccer legend Mia Hamm are among an all-star lineup of sports and movie giants scheduled to play Michael Jordan’s celebrity golf tournament in North Las Vegas, reports the AP.

Officials for the Aria resort and casino said New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and hockey star Wayne Gretzky are also expected at the tournament to be held from March 31 through April 3 at the exclusive Shadow Creek golf course.

The tournament is in its 10th year but is being held in Sin City for the first time.

Celebrity players are paired with four amateur participants in a 36-hole scramble format tournament.

Officials say this year’s tournament will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the James R. Jordan Foundation, Cats Care, Nevada Cancer Institute and other charities.
