Machine Gun Kelly took a double hit on Friday (Aug. 31), as Eminem took a direct shot at the "Bad Things" rapper on a track called "Not Alike" and G-Eazy unloaded on his own new track titled "Bad Boy" -- but MGK isn't so innocent.

Eminem was first to dish dirt on MGK in a track titled "Not Alike," to which the rapper responded with a scathing diss track titled "Rap Devil" on Monday (Sept. 3). The rappers' years-spanning feud dates back to 2012, but this is the first time the two have exchanged diss tracks, reigniting flames almost bigger than before.

Machine Gun Kelly Fires Back at Eminem With Scorching Diss Track 'Rap Devil': Listen

Amid that rap battle, MGK's layered issues with G-Eazy also resurfaced, with the 28-year-old accusing the "No Limit" rapper of mimicking his style in an attempt to steal his lane in hip-hop. The pair exchanged several blows on Friday (Aug. 31), starting with G-Eazy's jabs on "Bad Boy," followed up by MGK's response in a freestyle on Hot 97. A portion of the quarrel has also been centered around a love triangle with Halsey

As diss tracks fire away, Billboard attempts to recount how Machine Gun Kelly got to this point with his rap counterparts in a timely fashion.

May 2012 - MGK Tweets that Eminem's Daughter is "Hot as Fuck."

Machine Gun Kelly has long been a fan of Eminem and has credited him as an inspiration to pick up a pen coming out of the mid-west. Back in May of 2012, MGK thoughtlessly fired off a tweet regarding photos of Em's famed daughter, Hailie, who was 16-years-old at the time, that had surfaced online, much to the chagrin of her father. "Ok so I just saw a picture of Eminem's daughter... and I have to say, she's hot as fuck, in the most respectful way possible [because Eminem] is king," he wrote.

Oct. 2015 - MGK Believes that Tweet Still Plagues him Three Years Later

MGK stopped by Hot 97 for an interview in late 2015 and when the topic of his tweet regarding Eminem's daughter is brought up, the Cleveland-bred rapper hints that he believes the 2012 tweet has played a role in him being blackballed from Em's Shade 45 radio station on Sirius XM and other places with industry ties to Slim Shady.

"Pictures of [Hailie] had came out, and I’m like, what, 20 years old, 21 at the time? I said, ‘She’s beautiful, but all respect due, Eminem is king.’ What’s wrong with that? Is there a 15-year age gap where I’m a creep for that? I was 21, dawg," he told Hot 97. "Certain people won’t even listen or review [my album]. Certain places, you won’t even hear Machine Gun Kelly on. Certain things won’t even happen."

Years later, Kelly rapped about his Shade 45 ban in a 2017 freestyle with Power 106's L.A. Leakers.  “I’m my favorite rapper alive/ Since my favorite rapper banned me from Shade 45," he rhymes.

July 2018 - Halsey Says She's Single, Shuts Down MGK Rumors

Shortly after Halsey and G-Eazy parted ways over the summer, photos of the 23-year-old and MGK resurfaced on social media and were deceivingly being positioned as recent. The "Alone" singer quickly closed the door on being romantically involved with Kelly as the photos were more than a year old. Halsey also confirmed she was single at the time.

"I’m not at the beach. I’m on tour. Alone. Slow news week I guess," she penned. "I’m not with anybody. That photo is 2 years old. Everyone mind they damn business."

MGK seemed to take a subliminal shot at G-Eazy just 10 days later (July 18) when he debuted his new blonde hairstyle at the 2018 ESPY Awards. "Holy shit just be yourself homie," Kelly tweeted.

Aug. 31 - Eminem Takes Aim at Machine Gun Kelly on "Not Alike"

Slim Shady returned to release his Kamikaze album without any warning signs last Friday (Aug. 31). The Detroit legend didn't mince his words when lashing out at his detractors. Em finally publicly responded to MGK for his comments regarding his daughter on the Tay Keith and Ronny J-produced "Not Alike."

"Now you wanna come and fuck with me, huh?/ This little cock-sucker, he must be feeling himself/ He wants to keep up his tough demeanor, so he does a feature/ Decides to team up with Nina/ But next time you don’t gotta use Tech N9ne if you wanna come at me with a sub-machine gun/ And I’m talking to you but you already know who the fuck you are, Kelly/ I don’t use sublims and sure as fuck don’t sneak-diss/ But keep commenting on my daughter Hailie," the Rap God rhymes.

Aug. 31 - G-Eazy Unleashes "Bad Boy"

G-Eazy must've gotten wind that Machine Gun Kelly would be sending smoke his way on a recorded freestyle with Funkmaster Flex on Hot 97 Thursday night (Aug. 30). Prior to the freestyle hitting YouTube, the Bay Area MC fired off a preemptive strike, taking aim at MGK with the bristling "Bad Boy" diss track. Young Gerald attacks MGK's lack of sales, being jealous of his relationship with Halsey, how they actually did cordial shows together, and even refers to him as his "mini-me."

"MGK please stop trolling me, get over me/ You wanna be me, you’re mad that you’re not as big as me/ I'm everywhere, I'm your nightmare, you can't get rid of me/ Call a Uber, turn on the radio, imagine hearing me/ 'Him & I's on, mad you're listening to Halsey sing to me," he solemly raps.

Aug. 31 - Takes Shots at G-Eazy During Hot 97 Freestyle

The "Wild Boy" rapper stopped by Hot 97 and laid down a hard-hitting freestyle during his stay with Funkmaster Flex. Nearly halfway through his string of rhymes over Drake's "Nonstop," Machine Gun Kelly subliminally references Gerald and being romantically involved with his ex-girlfriend, seemingly referring to Halsey.

"Let's just keep it G/ Only Eazy I fuck with is E/ I seen he's dyed his hair and got a hanging earring/ I fucked his girl now he look like me/ This shit overbearing/ How dare him, I dare him/ Don't think about comparin'/ Now turn that frat rap off/ I'm gettin' sick of hearing," he raps.

He also continued to troll G-Eazy Friday (Aug. 31) on social media with a side-by-side of the pair explaining how he copied his swag. The original post's caption savagely read, "I fucked his girl now he looks like me this shit overbearing." MGK later updated his questionable choice of words.

Sept. 3 - Responds to Eminem With "Rap Devil"

Instead of responding on social media like some who were named on Eminem'sKamikaze, MGK decided to take the weekend to pen his answer on wax. The rapper fired back at his idol with the scorching "Rap Devil", in which the 28-year-old eviscerates Slim Shady while mentioning how Em made a concerted effort to impede his career's ascension.

Following the devastating track's release, MGK defended his actions by tweeting about how he had to stand up for not just himself, but his entire generation. "I'm standing up for not just myself, but my generation," Kelly wrote. "I'm doing the same shit you did back in your day. life is still real on my side, and I had to take time from the grind to defend myself from someone I called an idol. love, Rap Devil."
