The Hip Hop Museum is a cultural institution currently under construction in the Bronx, New York, and scheduled to open in the summer of 2026. It is located at 610 Exterior Street in the Bronx Point multi-use development.

What to know about the museum
Mission: The Hip Hop Museum aims to celebrate, preserve, and inspire future generations with Hip Hop culture.
Features: The 55,000-square-foot space will include a mix of exhibits, immersive experiences, interactive stations, and live performances.
Exhibits: Planned offerings include displays of rare artifacts, memorabilia, digital installations, and performances that will cover the history and ongoing influence of Hip Hop.
Temporary Experience (Closed): The museum ran a temporary public exhibit called the "[R]Evolution of Hip Hop" at the Bronx Terminal Market from 2019 to 2021, but it has since closed.
The Culture Lab
What it is: A multifaceted space that currently offers merchandise and serves as an event venue and studio for the upcoming museum.

Hours: Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is closed Sunday through Tuesday.
